Refund policy

This Return & Refund Policy explains when you are eligible for a return, exchange, or refund for orders placed through our online store. For any questions, contact us at support@beautymercado.com.


1. Standard Returns

You may return eligible items within 14 days of delivery, provided they are:

  • unused

  • unopened

  • in original packaging

  • in fully resaleable condition

Items that are opened, damaged, or not in resaleable condition may be refused.

Extended Return Window

If you miss the 14‑day period, you have an additional 14 days to return the item for a store credit coupon valid for 1 month.

How to Start a Return

Email support@beautymercado.com to request a return. Items must not be sent back without approval.

2. Return Shipping Costs

United Kingdom

  • Orders over £100: Free returns

  • Orders under £100: Customer pays return shipping

International Orders

For all orders outside the UK:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

  • We recommend using a tracked service

  • Customs duties, import taxes, or return‑to‑sender fees are not covered by us

Please include your order number and contact details inside the parcel.


3. Refunds

If your return is approved and received within the 14‑day standard window, we will refund you to your original payment method.

Refund Processing Time

  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of your cancellation request

  • Once approved, refunds typically appear within 10 business days

  • If more than 15 business days have passed, contact us

Refund Amount

Refunds cover the value of the returned items. Shipping fees may not be refunded for:

  • partial returns

  • orders under £100

  • international orders


4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

Inspect your order upon delivery. If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately with photos so we can resolve the issue.


5. Non‑Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • perishable goods

  • custom or personalised items

  • opened personal care goods

  • hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

  • sale items

  • gift cards


6. Restricted Items: Essential Oils, Medical Products & Scalpel Blades

Due to the nature of these items:

  • Only unopened products are eligible for return

  • Returns must be requested within 30 days

  • Opened bottles, opened bags, or used items cannot be refunded or exchanged

To request a return, email support@beautymercado.com with:

  • photos of the item

  • your order number

  • a brief description of the issue


7. Exchanges

To exchange an item, return it first. Once the return is accepted, you may place a new order for the replacement item.


8. EU 14‑Day Cooling‑Off Period

If your order is shipped into the European Union, you may cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason.

Items must be unused, unopened, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.


9. Global Shipping & International Returns

We ship worldwide. For international customers:

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility

  • Any customs duties, taxes, or import fees are non‑refundable

  • If a parcel is refused or returned due to unpaid customs charges, the cost will be deducted from your refund

  • Delivery delays caused by customs clearance are outside our control
